President Mamnoon Hussain has called upon the civil servants to expeditiously redress the problems of the people and efficiently perform their responsibilities by staying within the ambit of constitution and law.

The President said this during a meeting with civil servants recently promoted to Grade-22 who called on him here at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday.

The President said that corruption is eroding the foundation of the country and urged the civil servants to do their best in ensuring corruption free governance. The President stressed upon the officers that they must take all decisions in the best interest of the state and the nation as guided by the founder of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

“Your top positions in the civil service require you to uphold the highest standards of justice and transparency”, said the President. The President emphasized that the officers should perform their professional duties with maximum commitment and dedication.

The President felicitated the civil officers on their promotion to grade-22. The President also hosted a luncheon in the honour of civil servants.
