President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Pakistan desires to benefit from the Republic of Korea’s success in the agriculture sector and called for exchange of delegations between the farmers of both countries.

The President said this while talking to outgoing Ambassador of Republic of Korea Dr. Song Jong-Hwan, who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday.

President Mamnoon Hussain stated that collaboration between PakistaniAgricultureUniversities and Republic of Korea’s Agriculture Research Institutes could be very useful in modernizing and increasing agriculture production in Pakistan. The President said that the present Government has taken effective measures to stabilize the economy as a result of which the national economy is strengthening and the problems of the people are reducing. He further said that improvement in the national economy is also being acknowledged by international institutions.

President Mamnoon Hussain said that law and order situation in the country is improving and hoped that by the end of this year the objectives of operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ will be achieved. President Mamnoon Hussain remarked that Pakistan and Republic of Korea enjoy friendly relations adding that bilateral relations between the two will expand further and grow deeper in the future.

The President appreciated services of the outgoing Ambassador and wished him every success in the future.
