PR No.82 Minister For Labour And Human Resource Punjab Calls On The Prime Minister Islamabad: April 8, 2016

Minister for Labour and Human Resource Punjab Raja Ashfaq Sarwar called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House today.

Matters pertaining to the human resource development and ongoing development work in different parts of the Province were discussed during the meeting. The Prime Minister said that the present government believes in the dignity of labour and understands that a prosperous workforce can enable us to compete in a globalized market environment. A huge responsibility lies on the shoulders of the elected representatives for serving the people who have given their mandate and reposed their confidence in the representatives, the Prime Minister stated. The Prime Minister appreciated the performance of the Provincial government and praised the provincial ministries in bringing new and effective ideas to fruition in raising the standard of living of the masses as well as enabling them to exercise their capabilities to the fullest. Expressing his satisfaction over the development work being undertaken in the Province, the Prime Minister said that creation of economic activities and generation of employment opportunities in the wake of massive development projects would help a great deal in reducing poverty.

Raja Ashfaq Sarwar praised the Prime Minister on turning around Pakistan’s economy, launching infrastructure development and energy projects across the country, and generating employment opportunities in the country. The Provincial Minister apprised the Prime Minister on the steps being taken by the Provincial government for human resource development and enabling the people to realise their potential in diverse fields.
