Romanian Ambassador in Pakistan Emilian Ion has appreciated the eminence medical treatment facilities for the poor and deserving patients of thalassemia under the umbrella of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM). During his visit to Pakistan Thalassemia Centre he was greeted by Managing Director of PBM Barrister Abid Waheed Sheikh here in Islamabad on Thursday. The Ambassador was given a tour the centre including treatment ward and latest pathological lab.Appreciating the efforts of MD PBM for providing the basic
amenities to the neglected populace, he vowed to extend humanitarian assistance to these vulnerable natives of the country on the platform of PBM. Ambassador of Romania on the occasion also met with the thalassemic children under treatment there and distributed gifts among them.
