PR No.35 The Special Assistant To The Prime Minister Signs Condolence Book At The German Embassy Islamabad: April 5, 2016

The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs (SAPM), Syed Tariq Fatemi, visited the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Islamabad today, to sign the Condolence Book in memory of the former German Foreign Minister, Hans-Dietrich Genscher.

Mr. Genscher passed away on Thursday, 31 March 2016 in Germany, at the age of 89.

The SAPM expressed profound sorrow and grief on behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan at the sad demise of Mr. Genscher.

He paid rich tributes to the former German Foreign Minister for his role in strengthening Pakistan-Germany bilateral relations as well as for his contribution towards international peace and security.
