PR No.21 Child Psychiatric Departments To Be Established In Pims Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry Islamabad: April 4, 2016

Minister of State for Capital Administration & Development Division (CA&DD), Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has announced to establish a Child Psychiatric Department in the PIMS. He announced this while addressing the Inaugural Session of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Conference at PIMS on Monday.

Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary has said that Child Psychiatry is an important subject as childhood memories are long lasting. He said that many questions arise in the nascent minds of a child which remain un-answered due to various social and religious reason. These questions should be addressed and answered in a professional manner, he continued.

Minister of State for CA&DD also announced to depute a permanent Child Counsel in all school of Islamabad, who would provide assistance and guidance to the students.

While talking on the issue of brain drain, he said that nations prosper and progress due to skilled and talented human resource. Our youth must come back to their country after completion of education and pay back to the Nation to which they owe so much. He said that whatever today we are, it’s because of this country and it’s our first duty to do some good for the nation. He appreciated the doctors who completed their studies abroad and are now back in the country to serve in hospitals in Pakistan.
