Ambassador of Belarus to Pakistan called on Minister of State for Parliamentary Arffairs, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed here today, and exchanged matters of mutual interest and bilateral relations. Welcoming the Ambassador of Belarus Mr. Andrei Ermolovich, the Minister of State said that Pakistan gives importance to its friendly relations with Belarus and hope that it would continue to flourish the benefits of the two countries.
Minister of State said that frequent exchange of Pakistani delegation would bring two countries closer, adding that the people of the both countries would be provided an opportunity to learn from each other experiences, in the parliamentary system. Minister of State further said that there exists vast scope of opportunities to enhance cooperation in the field of Agriculture, Socio-Economical sectors for the mutual advantages of the both countries.
He said that Pakistani People like Belarus Tractors and showed unprecedented interest in the imports of the Belarus Tractors to Pakistan recent years. Ambassador of Belarus expressed his gratitude to Minister of State and said that bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries would be expanded with the passage of time for the mutual benefits of the both countries. He briefed the Minister of State about the Scio-Economic Projects being under taken by his government.
