PR No.184 Call On The Special Assistant To The Prime Minister On Foreign Affairs By The …..Ambassador Of Iraq Islamabad

The newly appointed Ambassador of Iraq to Pakistan, Dr. Ali Yassin Mohammed Karim, called on the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs (SAPM), Syed Tariq Fatemi, today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The SAPM welcomed Ambassador Karim to Pakistan, and expressed the confidence that his presence in Pakistan would help further strengthen the existing bilateral ties between the two sides. He expressed Pakistan’s strong concern at the atrocities and destruction being carried out by Daesh in Iraq, and commended the Iraqi Government’s resolute efforts in the fight against terrorism.

The Iraqi Ambassador thanked the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for the warm welcome accorded to him in Pakistan, and expressed his resolve to explore new avenues of cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
