PR No.172 Fata Parliamentarians Meet Sheikh Aftab Ahmad Islamabad

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Incharge Minister for Prime Minister’s Public Affairs and Grievances Wing, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed has said the incumbent government is trying its best to provide basic facilities to the masses at their doorsteps.

He expressed these views while chairing a meeting of parliamentarians of FATA to discuss Pak Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Community Development Programme here on Monday.

Matters relating to the welfare of masses and ongoing projects initiated by the government were discussed in the meeting. The funding position and balance status of the community development programme was also reviewed in the meeting.

It was decided work on the ongoing projects should be expedited and completed on time.

The minister directed authorities concerned to release funds for the projects in time to avoid lapse of funds.

MNA Captain ® Mohammad Safdar, senior officials of Planning Development and Reform Division, FATA Secretariat, Parliamentary Affairs and Finance Division also attended the meeting.
