PRESS RELEASE FOR PUBLICATION IN THE
NEWSPAPERS OF 24TH MARCH, 2016
159 Pakistan Civil Awards were conferred by the President on 14th August, 2015 and four (04) after 14th August, 2015. As special cases following Pakistan Civil Awards were decorated on 23rd March, 2016 under the following arrangements:-
a) The President decorated 84 Pakistan Civil Awards, including 08 Foreign Nationals and Pakistani living abroad, at a simple but impressive Investiture Ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad (Annex-I).
b) The Governor Punjab on behalf of President, decorated
24 recipients of Pakistan Civil Awards (Annex-II), at the Investiture Ceremony held in Governor’s House, Lahore.
c) 12 recipients of Pakistan Civil Awards (Annex-III) were decorated by Governor Sindh, on behalf of the President, at the Investiture Ceremony held in Governor’s House, Karachi.
d) 04 recipients of Pakistan Civil Awards (Annex-IV) will be decorated by Governor KP, on behalf of the President, at the Investiture Ceremony being held in Governor’s House KP, Peshawar.
e) 05 recipients of Pakistan Civil Awards (Annex-V) were decorated by Governor Balochistan, on behalf of the President, at the Investiture Ceremony held in Governor’s House, Quetta.
f) 01 recipients of Pakistan Civil Awards (Annex-VI) was decorated by Governor Gilgit Baltistan, on behalf of the President, at the Investiture Ceremony held in Governor’s House, Gilgit Baltistan.
