Islamabad: Federal Minister for climate Change Zahid Hamid chaired a meeting with the delegation of Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency.

The delegation highlighted their findings on rule of law in the country and presented their suggestions

“It is need of hour to transforming public fighting thana culture to people friendly”, the delegation also informed the minister They also pointed out that forensic lab established in Punjab should be duplicated in whole Pakistan to improve criminal identity and proofs. The political influences should be reduced from the justice system.

The delegation also suggested to bring constitutional changes to improve law and order situation in the country. The litigation and lawyer fees are crucial issues to be dealt seriously. They also suggested establishment of Free Legal Authority.

“First Hand Information is taken as direct arrest of the person without any investigation”, the delegation also told the minister. Many issues related to awareness, rights of criminal and victims were highlighted during the meeting.

“We shall take into account all the issues and suggestions highlighted by the delegation”, said by the Federal Minister.

“It is our aim to show speedy performance on rule of law in the country”, emphasized by the minister
