PR No.146 Governor Punjab Called On The Prime Minister Islamabad: March 17, 2016

Mr Muhammad Rafique Rajwana, Governor Punjab called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House this evening.

Appreciating the government for its public welfare projects, the Governor discussed various issues pertaining to Punjab with the Prime Minister. He said that the mass transit systems, roads infrastructure and other projects of the government have greatly eased the difficulties of the public at large. The Governor said that the government has rightly prioritised developmental projects which, after their completion, will resolve the gravest issues confronted by the people.

The Prime Minister said that the government is focussed to revitalise each and every sector of the country, which unfortunately remained ignored in the previous governments. Our government, with the grace of Almighty Allah, will remove the energy deficiency by the end of our term in office. Our bids are also aimed at reshaping Pakistan by proactively pursuing mega infrastructure projects including CPEC, TAPI and many others. These projects will certainly change the destiny of millions of people in our region, added the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister further said that Pakistan’s perception abroad has greatly enhanced due to the economic stability and improved law and order situation in the country. We are delivering up to the expectations of the people of Pakistan, which is a great source of satisfaction for us, expressed the Prime Minister.
