PR No.71 Pakistan Releases 87 Indian Prisoners Islamabad: March 8, 2016

The Government of Pakistan has released 87 Indian prisoners including 86 fishermen and a civilian on March 08, 2016 via Wagah Border. Pakistan is also facilitating the Indian High Commission for repatriation of Indian fishermen/ civilians.

Pakistan believes that such humanitarian gestures would promote better understanding between the two countries. It is our hope that the Indian side will also reciprocate in a similar manner.
