PR No.80 First Deputy Defence Minister And Chief Of General Staff Of Armed Forces Of The Republic Of Kazakhstan Calls On The PM Islamabad

Colonel General Zhasuzakov Saken Adilkhanovich, First Deputy Defence Minister and Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House today.

The Prime Minister said that Pakistan values close and cordial relations with Kazakhstan. Both the countries have immense mutual good will and understanding to bring both the countries even closer, said the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister stressed that countries of the region need to work for promoting regional trade and investment, which has the potential to change the destiny of the entire region. China Pakistan Economic Corridor, developed with the help of China, will be beneficial for all Central Asian States including Kazakhstan, added the Prime Minister.

Colonel General Zhasuzakov Saken Adilkhanovich thanked the Prime Minister and expressed the confidence that mutual relations between the two countries will be further strengthened with the continued efforts from both sides.

The delegation included Lieutenant General Oleg Bizhanov, Head of Military Intelligence, Lieutenant Colonel Olzhas Khussainov, Deputy Head of International Cooperation Department and Ambassador of Kazakhstan.

Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Defence, Lt Gen ® Alam Khattak, Secretary Defence and other senior government officials were also present during the meeting.
