PR No.243 High Commissioner Mr. Nasrullah khan presents his credentials Islamabad

The High Commissioner of Pakistan to Singapore, Mr. Nasrullah Khan, presented his credentials to the President of Singapore Tony Tan Keng Yam at an impressive but simple ceremony held at Istana Singapore here today, says a press release received here today from Singapore .

Accepting the credentials, President Tony Tan Keng Yam warmly welcomed High Commissioner Nasrullah Khan and extended his best wishes and support in discharging of his duties as the High Commissioner of Pakistan.

The High Commissioner conveyed the greetings of President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to President Tony Tan and reiterated his resolve to work closely with Singapore to transform the cordial relationship between the two countries into a strong trade and economic partnership.

Mr. Nasrullah Khan, who joined his new assignment as High Commissioner of Pakistan in Singapore on January 7, 2016, is a career diplomat. He held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad including Rome, Meshad, Prague, Brussels and Tehran. He was previously serving as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Brazil.
