High Commissioner for Pakistan to Canada Zaheer A Janjua has said that both Pakistan and Canada enjoy a strong multidimensional relationship encompassing various fields and areas of mutual cooperation, says a press release received here today from Ottawa. He made this statement after meeting with the Speaker of Senate of Canada, Mr. George Furey in Ottawa today. During the meeting held at the Senate of Canada in the Canadian capital, the High Commissioner discussed bilateral relations and issues of mutual interests between both countries. He thanked the Canadian Speaker for his country's generous support for flood relief and rehabilitation activities in Pakistan. Mr. George Furey also expressed similar feelings, calling the meeting with Ambassador Janjua as “productive”. He said both Canada and Pakistan "are committed to working together on common interests, including climate change, strengthening trade and investment, and advancing gender equality”.
