Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf presided over a meeting today in Islamabad. The objective of meeting was to ascertain and finalize the consensus of participants over standard copy of Quran.

            Minister underscored the importance of publication of error free Quran, adding that it is joint responsibility of all segments of society to play its part for completion of this sacred cause swiftly. All participants unanimously agreed on publication of standard copy of Quran printed by Anjumane Hamayet e Islam and decided that it would be used as a standard pattern for printing Quran in future .Government will also provide its full support in this regard, the minister committed.  The Participants of meeting appreciated the efforts made by the ministry of religious affairs for taking steps for fulfillment of such sacred causes.

 

            Secretary, Additional secretary of M/O religious affairs, Ulema from various sects and representatives of provincial Quran board also participated in the meeting.
