Federal Minister for Human Rights Senator Kamran Michael said that Pakistan has always raised human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) at International level. He said the situation of human rights is really very deploring in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. He added that the people of IHK have been sacrificing their lives, chastity, properties and even, their careers for the attainment of the Plebiscite which has been guaranteed by the UNSC and UNCIP resolutions.  Talking to the media with Mushal Malik at her residence, he said that Pakistan stands shoulder to shoulder with Kashmiri brethren and would never forsake them, adding that people of Kashmir are struggling for right of self determination. He said Indian authorities violating the basic human rights in Kashmir valley and India should stop this violation and urged the international community to come forward to play its effective role to raise the voice of innocent Kashmiris.

While showing solidarity with the innocent people of Kashmir on the black day, Minister for Human Rights Senator Kamran Michael on Thursday visited the house of human rights activist and wife of senior Kashmiri Hurriat Leader, Mushal Malik here in Islamabad. On the occasion, Mushal Malik has said that India has not only been violating the human rights but the economic rights of the people of Kashmir and we will continue the struggle till the independence of Kashmir. Ms. Malik thanked the Senator Kamran Michael and appreciated the endeavour of Pakistan on Kashmir issue.

Minister for Human Rights Kamran Michael condemned the Indian brutality in Kashmir and said that the innocent people have become the victims of the Indian forces. He said Pakistan fully support the Freedom movement of the people of IHK and urged the UN to take immediate and appropriate steps to redress their protracted grievances.
