Federal Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada has appreciated organizing of the “National Conference on improving SSC and HSSC Examination System”.
“I congratulate the concerned officers of the IPC, Secretary IBCC, Organizing Committee, the working group, all Chairmen of the Education Boards, its management, senior educationists from all over the country and the Vice Chancellor, Allama Iqbal Open University for organizing this important National Conference on improving SSC and HSSC Examination System”, Federal Minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada said while speaking on the occasion of closing of three-day National Conference on improving SSC and HSSC Examination System here on Thursday.
The Conference was organized by Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) in collaboration with Education Boards and Allama Iqbal Open University. The prime objective of the Conference was to critically examine the existing examination practices, diagnose weaknesses and prepare a roadmap for improving the SSC and HSSC examinations leading to improved quality of education in the country.
The Federal Minister said that he is confident that the outcomes of this conference would set a milestone by implementing the various initiatives which are proposed as part of the improvement plan.
IBCC, Education Boards, educational institutions and all the stakeholders are expected to make collective efforts in implementing the Action Plan that you will bring out as a result of this conference, he added.
Riaz Pirzada also assured his full support for implementation of this plan.He said that this National Conference should become a regular annual feature which will not only enable stakeholders to review their earlier plans rather they would come up with new proposals for intervention in the area of education assessment enabling the students to have quality education and credible certificates.
