PR No.217 “MR. AKRAM KHAN DURRANI, FEDERAL MINISTER FOR HOUSING AND WORKS STRESSED UPON THE SPEEDY WORK ON RAISING OF BARAN DAM BANNU AND UP GRADATION OF KURRAM GARHI POWER HOUSE.” Islamabad: January 24, 2017.

The Federal Minister for Housing and Works, Akram Khan Durrani said this in a meeting with Mr. Muhammad Younis Dagha, Secretary Ministry of Water and Power. The meeting was also attended by the representatives of the relevant departments.

The honourable minister said that both the projects I-e Raising of Baran Dam Bannu and Up-gradation of Kurram Garhi Power House are initiatives of the Prime Minister and immense need of the people and thus must be completed on priority. “These projects will not only help in fulfilling the energy needs of the local people but will also create employment opportunities for the people of the region which is badly affected by terrorism”, added the Minister.

Mr. Muhammad Younis Dagha reviewed progress on the aforementioned projects and assured the honourable minister that these projects are of importance and work on these projects will be carried out on priority and will be completed as soon as possible.
