His Excellency the president of Islamic Republic of Pakistan in exercise of power conferred by clause 8 of Article 203 C of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan has been pleased to appoint Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer, Senior Judge of Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan, to act as Acting Chief Justice of the said Court. The seat of Chief Justice Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan became vacant on the eve of retirement of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Muhammad Noor Meskanzi on 14th of May 2022. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer took oath of his office today, the 16th of May 2022. Oath was administered by Hon’able Mr. Justice Khadim Husain M. Shaikh, Judge Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan. The Officers and officials of the Court attended the Oath taking ceremony held at the Federal Shariat Court Building, Islamabad.
