Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab has chaired a high level meeting on PM grievance cell. The meeting focused on the resolution of grievances in the Rawalpindi region. The meeting was attended by Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, RPO Rawalpindi DCOs of districts and district officers of various departments. The meeting focused on the public grievances and complaints and speedy resolution of those grievances. The minister has directed all the concerned officials to address the public complaints on quick and priority basis. The minister has directed the police officials to ensure safety of complainants and rapid disposal of complaints. The minister has also discussed various cases of deserving patients suffering from critical diseases. The federal minister has directed all the district authorities to make sure no complaint be delayed. The minister has said that he will conduct meetings in every division on Prime Minister Grievances Cell and will visit all the divisions and districts to ensure speedy resolution of complaints addressed to PM grievances cell. The minister was informed that all the complaints in the Rawalpindi division are being effectively addressed and there are very few complaints related to police and law enforcement agencies. The minister has also chaired a high level meeting of officials from Attock district and discussed various development projects from the area.
