A “Capital Curriculum and Textbook Wing” for Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) has been Established under Capital Administration and Development Division, (CA&DD),

The wing is created in pursuance of the article-25-A, of the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Act No.XXIV, “Right to free and compulsory education to all children the age of 5 to 16 years in schools established by Federal Government and Local Government in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

The wing is established to facilitate the implementation of clause 7 of section-3 of the Act. A Notification to this effect has been issued by the CA&D Division.
