Talking to the outgoing and incoming cabinets of Supreme Court Bar Association, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan said, “It is indeed a matter of pleasure to welcome all of you as newly elected and outgoing cabinet of Supreme Court Bar Association”. The outgoing and incoming cabinets of Supreme Court Bar Association headed by Mr. Abdul Lateef Afridi and newly elected body of Supreme Court Bar Association headed by its President Mr. Ahsan Bhoon called on the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan today i.e. 10.11.2021 in Supreme Court, Islamabad, said a press release received here today. His lordship further added that Bench and Bar are integral parts of the judicial system therefore, it is incumbent upon both of them to address legal needs and expectations of litigant parties by providing speedy justice to them. Bidding farewell to outgoing SCBA President Mr. Abdul Lateef Afridi and his cabinet members, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan lauded services rendered by them and said that the Supreme Court Bar Association under Mr. Abdul Lateef Afridi performed very well. All the members of his cabinet played their role devotedly and wholeheartedly for cause of dispensation of justice. Felicitating the newly elected SCBA President Mr. Ahsan Bhoon and his cabinet, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan welcomed the Bar and said that he had cordial relationship with Bar and he will be looking forward to the Bar for strengthening the institution of judiciary. The outgoing President Mr. Abdul Lateef Afridi appreciated his lordships contribution for cause of administration of justice and said that they were lucky to have patronage of his lordship. The President of newly elected Cabinet of Supreme Court Bar Association Mr. Ahsan Bhoon thanked the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan for sparing time and assured of full cooperation to strengthen institution by supporting constitutionalism, rule of law and independence of judiciary. At the end of meeting they also presented a shield and bouquet to Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan as token of respect and gesture of goodwill.
