PR No. 99 Afghani President Telephones Prime Minister Islamabad

Mr Ashraf Ghani, President Afghanistan made a telephonic call to Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and apprised him regarding the attack on Pakistani consulate in Jalal Abad and expressed his concern and grief over the incident. The Afghani President assured the Prime Minister to ensure more security measures for Pakistan’s diplomats in Afghanistan.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif thanked the Afghani president for his concern and also conveyed his condolences on the deaths of Afghan security personnel. The Prime Minister stated that terrorism is a common enemy of both the countries and we will fight this menace together to eliminate it once for all.
