Ulemas-Mashaykh have to come forward for the betterment of the society. No law is neither being made nor will be ccepted against the ideology of Pakistan and the teachings of Islam, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council, Special Aide to Prime Minister on Religious Harmony and Middle East. Addressing Ulemas-Mashaykh of different religious schools of thought who announced to join Pakistan Ulema Council in a ceremony here Friday, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi said that fulfilling the rights of Allah and the rights of people is the basic commandment of Islamic Shariah. In a ceremony held here on Friday, leading Ulemas-Mashaykh and religious scholars of different religious schools of thought announced to join Pakistan Ulema Council. Addressing on this occasion, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi said that no one else can give the rights that Islam has given to women, there are few women and men campaigning against Hijab, while there are millions of women who wear Hjab and cover their faces as per Islamic teachings. Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said that Prime Minister Imran Khan's announcement to create a state in the pattern of Madinah is a step in the right direction. He said that today those people are propagandizing against the ideology of Imran Khan who from 1947 till today have been chanting the slogans of Nizam-e-Mustafa and God's system on God's land but had not taken any practical action on these slogans. The enemies of Pakistan want to sabotage Pakistan-Afghanistan relations, said Tahir Ashrafi adding that India wants a confrontation between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Pakistan has won the war against the menace of extremism and terrorism by making enormous sacrifices. These conspiring elements want to sow confrontation between the Pakistan Army and the people of Pakistan. We are proudful of the country's security agencies and the Pakistan Army, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi and also announced that Ulemas-Mashaykh are united with the government for Pakistan's stability and security. On the occasion of joining Pakistan Ulema Council, among leading Ulemas-Mashaykh include Maulana Asadullah Farooq, Maulana Muhammad Aslam Siddiqui, Maulana Muhammad Aslam Qadri, Qari Abdul Hakim Athar, Qari Mubashir Rahimi, Maulana Shamsul Haq, Qari Kifayatullah, Maulana Mufti Dr. Rehmat Din, Maulana Mufti Abdul Rahman, Mufti Rashid Ahmad Alvi, Qari Fazlur Rehman, Qari Abu Huraira, Maulana Imtiaz, Maulana Muhammad Shakir, Qari Zulfiqar, Qari Hassan, Maulana Irfan, Maulana Abid, Maulana Zahid, Qari Rafiq, Qari Shafi, Qari Abdul Razzaq, Mufti Muhammad Ilyas, Maulana Shaukat, Maulana Ijaz, Maulana Abdul Rahim Shah, Maulana Abdul Jabbar, Maulana Abdul Basit joined the Pakistan Ulema Council. Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council, Special Aide to Prime Minister on Religious Harmony and Middle East said that there could be no legislation in Pakistan against the Qur'an and Sunnah, adding that there is no room for forced conversion in Islam, teaching the Qur'an to children is the achievement of the incumbent government and the country's image is tarnished by false and fake news. He also stated that during the last one week there was a lot of fuss and propaganda about single national curriculum. The cure for all such tribulations and fuss is to tell the world that foundation of Pakistan and the constitution of Pakistan is "La ilaha illa Allah" and our constitution is subject to Qur'an and Sunnah, we will continue to move according to it. Extremists are those who do not want a system of education within Pakistan to make Pakistan strong, single national curriculum will educate the youth of Pakistan about Islam, so that youths will not be held hostage by forces that will lead them to extremism and terrorism, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi. It will not be easy to mislead you when you are connected with the Qur'an and Sunnah, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi. He said that teaching Qur'an to children is a great achievement of the incumbent government and the addition of the word 'Khatam-un-Nabiyyin' to the name of Rasoolullah (S.A.W) with reference to the belief in the finality of prophethood is not an addition but it is real. He said that the propaganda being spread and the attempt being made to spread the impression that the path of neo-Muslims was being blocked inside Pakistan is a great tragedy and the actual fact is that, any such bill has not been passed, nor can any bill be passed in Pakistan that is against the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah. In the case of proposals in the first phase, the bill is with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and is still lying there. A formal explanation has also been issued by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri. There can be no legislation in Pakistan that is against the Qur'an and Sunnah, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi. He said that Islam does not believe in forcibly converting anyone to Islam, one is that if anyone is becoming a Muslim then obstructing his way, Islam does not even allow it. The message of Islam is so powerful that when someone reads it, if he reads the Seerat-e-Tayyaba of the Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W) he automatically converts to Islam. Inshallah, the incumbent government will not do anything that is against the Qur'an and Sunnah. Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said that when the bill came to the ministry, the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs stopped the bill saying that it is not possible.
