PR No. 72 Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary To Be Chairperson Islamabad Polio Eradication Task Force. Islamabad

Minister of State for Capital Administration& Development Division (CA&DD) Dr. Tariq Fazal Choudhary would be the chairman of the task force for eradication of polio from Islamabad. It was decided in a meeting to review Polio Situation in Islamabad

Prime Minister’s Focal Person on Polio Eradication Senator Aysha Raza said that Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary was the most suitable person for the chairmanship of the Task Force.

It was briefed in the meeting that polio vaccine is administered to 100% children of Islamabad including rural areas.

While speaking at the occasion Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said that it was one of the top most priorities of the present government to eradicate polio from whole country including Islamabad. He said that close coordination and cooperation between all relevant departments is essential to fight this menace and directed chairman CDA and ICT officials to ensure their department’s co-operation in this national cause.
