Steering Committee Meeting on Pak Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Community Development Programme held at cabinet committee room, Islamabad today. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Incharge Minister for Prime Minister’s Public Affairs and Grievances Wing and Chairman Steering Committee Sheikh Aftab Ahmed chaired the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the funding position with regard to issue and balance status under the Pak MDGs Community Development Programme. The decisions taken in last meeting were also came under discussion in the meeting.
On the occasion the Minister of State said that these funds are for masses which will be utilized for their betterment and welfare in a transparent way.
He said that the incumbent government had started various mega projects for the welfare of masses, those were completed on scheduled time adding that the government is endevouring for the prosperity, betterment and development of the country.
Minister of State has directed all the concerned institutions to complete all the incomplete projects on war footing basis. There will be no compromise on negligence and laziness and these funds should be utilized transparently, he added.
Senator Saud Majid, MNA Captain ® Muhammad Safdar, Secretary Cabinet Division Raja Hasan Abbas, and high officials of SNGPL, OGRA and Finance Division has also attended the meeting.
