Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yusuf has visited National Press Club Islamabad today. He congratulated the members of Press Club who triumphed in election this year. On this occasion the Minister stated    that the selection of Press club members through election every year is a good convention. He appreciated the role, cooperation and coverage of media regarding matters of Interfaith Harmony, Nazam-e-Salat on same time, and mashakh-e-Ulema-e-Islam   committee.

He added that media played a vital role in continuity of democratic system and even helped to strengthen it, which is proved beneficial for the country and masses. The Hajj arrangements were excellent this year, media has fully appreciated and supported it. He stated that the Ministry will put its full effort to restore Hajj quota for the journalist this year. Census is going to be held soon, after census quota of hajj will also be increased obviously. Ministry will give priority for Hajj to those who are new applicants and going to perform hajj first time. National Press Club has collaboration and participation in perpetuating the democracy.
