Minister of State welcomed the President of Chamber of Commerce Mr. Khalid Iqbal Malik and his delegation and said that Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training is always willing to facilitate and work in collaboration with the chambers of commerce.

Chairman of Chamber of Commerce commended the developments in technical and vocational training and said that the first skill development competition which was recently organized by NAVTTC was one of its kinds. Such competitions are very useful for the industry and we got to hire a couple of students from there, said the Chairman. He further said that chamber of commerce wants to adopt public schools which are working under the federal ministry of education. Moreover he mentioned certain issues of education as well like drug addiction and missing facilities in public schools. One of the members of chamber requested the State Minister to provide them technical people to work abroad in UAE and Qatar.

Minister of State welcomed the suggestions by the members of chamber of commerce and said that it would be great if they would adopt schools working under BECS and NCHD. Further he said that very strict action has been taken by the government on this menace of drug addiction and they are fully committed to resolve this issue as soon as possible. He also said that condition of public schools in federal areas are getting improved as the ministry of CADD is working on it and by the end of 2018, all the public schools of federal areas would be revamped hopefully.
