On completion of one year of Military Siege of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir and to show solidarity with Kashmiri people, besides, highlighting the Indian unilateral illegal actions against Kashmiri people as well as the atrocities being carried out by Indian forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, the Prime Minister has directed that following changes in terminologies will be effective immediately, in lieu of “Youm-e-Istehsal” 5th of August, 2020:
Name of the Day:
5th August has now been termed as Youm-e-Istehsal (English) and Ghasbana Qabza (Urdu). The term Kashmir Siege Day may be used wherever and whenever deemed appropriate. The following terms may also be used on all TV Channels/Print Media/Banners & Posters/and SM campaigns with immediate effect:

All TV Channels / Radios, to play Pakistan and AJK national anthems immediately after one-minute silence on 5th August. PTV and Private TV Channels to ensure that their presenters wear black solidarity bands, and Channel Logos are turned black to condemn Indian atrocities in IIOJK. Special Postage Stamps shall be issued on this occasion.
For all communication on 5th August 2020, and beyond, the theme shall be “One Year of Indian Military Siege of IIOJK”, instead of use of the word “lockdown”.
