The spokesperson of Ministry of Law and Justice has denied the news circulating in a section of media that the Law Ministry is responsible for not constructing a courtroom for Third Accountability Court and the judge has been forced to conduct hearings outside the courtroom as a result of that. The Accountability Court is a separate spending unit with its own budget and judge is the DDO of the court. Necessary funds were available at their disposal for the required work. The work was being done by the court itself and Ministry of Law and Justice has no role in it. The court asked for allocation of additional funds in this financial year which was duly done and additional funds are allocated. The news that the Law Ministry delayed the construction of the courtroom for the Third Accountability Judge at Islamabad is thus misleading.
