Minister for Petroleum & Natural Resources, Shahid Khaqan Abbassi called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House today.

The Minister apprised the PM on various ongoing projects and initiatives undertaken by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Resources, especially in the field of oil and gas exploration in the country. He also briefed the Prime Minister on the progress regarding LNG import and the measures taken for fuel supply to various sectors.

The Prime Minister directed the Minister to ensure that gas consumers are given maximum relief. The PM further directed to enhance coordination with respect to Energy projects.
