Newly appointed Chairman Heavy Industries Taxila Lt Gen Naeem Ashraf had a courtesy call with Rana Tanveer Hussain Federal Minister for Defence Production in his office in Ministry of Defence Production Rawalpindi today. Secretary Defene Production Lt Gen (Retd) Syed Mohammad Owais and ex-Chairman Heavy Industries Taxila Lt Gen Syed Wajid Hussain were also present on the occassion.

Minister welcomed the newly appointed Chairman to his new office and assured for all out support from Ministry of Defence Production whenever required.

Minister also appreciated performance of ex-chairman of HIT, Lt Gen Seyed Wajid Hussain.

Chairman HIT has shown determination to work with devotion and in close coordination with the Ministry.

Chairman also expressed his desire to fulfill the targets as given in the guidelines most effectively and in a transparent manner.
