PR No. 231 PAKISTAN PLAYING VITAL ROLE IN ASIAN PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY ….. JAVED MALIK Islamabad: April 25, 2017

Ambassador Javed Malik, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain has said that Pakistan is playing a vital role in the Asian Parliamentary Assembly. He made these remarks while welcoming visiting Pakistani senators, Nuzhat Sadiq & Taj Haider at the Pakistan Embassy who were in Bahrain to participate in the meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly. The Standing committee of sustainable development of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly is taking place in Bahrain in which more than 25 countries are participating.

The Meeting is being hosted by the Speaker of Bahraini Parliament Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla, between April 25-26, 2017. Ambassador Javed Malik said that Asian Parliamentary Assembly is one of the most important regional forums in Asia which brings together parliaments of almost 47 countries. He added that, as an Important country of the region, Pakistan will continue to support all efforts that promote goodwill, peace and friendly ties among all member states of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly and the international community at large. On the Occasion, Ambassador Javed Malik also presented shields of appreciation to the visiting Senators for their services towards democracy.
