PROPOSAL: OVERSEAS PAKISTANI COMPLAINTS LODGED UNDER CALL SARZAMEEN PORTAL, OR UNDER ANY OTHER MEDIUM, TO BE LINKED WITH PRIME MINISTER’S PERFORMANCE DELIVERY UNIT (PMDU). “THE PURPOSE OF THE COMMITTEE IS TO MONITOR AND FIND BETTER WAYS FOR THE EFFECTIVE RESOLUTION OF OVERSEAS PAKISTANI COMPLAINTS

Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development (OPHRD), Syed Zulfiqar Bukhari chaired a meeting today of High Powered Committee on Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and Islamabad Capital Territory to discuss mechanisms for effective and efficient resolution of complaints lodged by Overseas Pakistanis through Pakistan Citizen Portal (PCP). Zulfi Bukhari said “The purpose of the committee is to monitor and find better ways for the effective resolution of Overseas Pakistani Complaints". As per the vision of the SAPM, a proposal was initiated to link the Overseas Pakistani Complaints lodged under the Call Sarzameen Portal(CSP), or under any other medium, with the Prime Minister Performance Delivery Unit (PMDU) portal. The representative of PMDU assured the Chairman of the Committee to chalk out a way to integrate PMDU Portal with CSP and present the mechanism in the next meeting. The Committee also discussed ways of resolving the complaints lodged by Overseas Pakistanis effectively. The departments have been provided with the details of their respective complaints with the directions to resolves these complaints within three weeks and propose recommendations for policy-making if required. The meeting was attended by Special Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Managing Director Overseas Pakistanis Foundation, Joint Secretary Ministry of Interior, Secretary S&GAD AJK and GB, IGP GB, Additional IGP AJK, Deputy Secretary PMDU Prime Minister Office Islamabad and representatives from CDA, Chief Commissioner ICT, BE&OE, OEC and IGP, ICT.
