PR No.53 PM INAUGURATES UP- GRADED WAH BRASS MILLS AT POF Islamabad

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif arrived here at Wah to inaugurate up-gradation project of Wah Brass mills. Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Chairman Pakistan Ordinance Factories Lt. General Umar Mehmood Hayat welcomed the Prime Minister on arrival.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif along with Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanvir Hussain inaugurated Brass mill up-gradation project. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan was also present on this occasion. In the wake of its recent up-gradation Wah Brass is now reckoned to be a major name in brass producing industry of South Asia. Wah Brass is equipped with state-of the art technology and facilities to set new quality benchmark for the brass products.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif visited various parts of the mill and also witnessed brass making. PM was briefed by the officials about processing, technology and quality of product being produced in Wah Brass. Prime Minister hoped that the team of Wah Brass will continue its efforts and play a vital role in the economic augmentation of Pakistan. Prime Minister appreciated the quality of products and passion of workforce of POF. On the recommendation of Interior Minister, the Prime Minister announced 25 percent allowance and 2 annual increments for the staff of POF.
