PR No.47 AFGHAN AMBASSADOR CALLS ON FEDERAL MINISTER RIAZ HUSSAIN PIRZADA Islamabad

Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal called on Federal Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada at his office in Sports Complex, Islamabad on Monday.

Federal Minister Riaz Pirzada welcomed the Afghan Ambassador and matters related to sports were discussed during the meeting.

Riaz Pirzada said that Afghanistan can send its players in Pakistan for getting training and playing matches with Pakistan.

The Federal Minister said he aspired matches especially cricket and football should be held between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Referring towards recent Davis Cup held between Pakistan and Iran at Sports Complex, Islamabad, the Federal Minister said that Afghanistan can also send its players in Pakistan as Sports Complex, Islamabad has each and every sports facility and foolproof security arrangements for players.

He said that the youth of two countries should come toward sports fields.

The Afghan ambassador noted that it is positive if matches held between Pakistan and Afghanistan teams.

At the end, the Afghan Ambassador thanked Federal Minister Riaz Pirzada.

Secretary Ministry of Inter-provincial Coordination Raja Muhammad Nadir Ali and Director General Pakistan Sports Board Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera were also present in the meeting.
