PR No.70 Police Facilitation Center to have complaint Department for overseas Pakistanis, Zulfi Bukhari Islamabad, May 15, 2019

Special Assistant to Prime Minister Zulfikar Bukhari visited Police Facilitation Center F6, Islamabad today. The state of the art Police Facilitation Center is established to facilitate Islamabad locals and Overseas Pakistanis. IG Police Islamabad briefed Special Assistant to Prime Minister on the sections that have been designated at the facilitation center for the overseas Pakistanis. He explained that the complaints of the overseas Pakistanis will be divided into categories so that they can be resolved at a quick pace and that the Pakistanis living abroad will be given priority. Zulfikar Bukhari emphasized the need for the quick redress of complaints registered by the overseas Pakistanis. He said that most of the Pakistanis living abroad have complaints regarding their properties. He said that there was a need to establish a framework of coordination between judiciary, revenue department and the police to facilitate overseas Pakistanis that have been waiting for decisions on their property cases. The establishment of overseas desks at police facilitation center Islamabad points out the fact that the incumbent government cares about overseas Pakistanis and their families. “We are working on the establishment of Courts for overseas Pakistanis and our goal is to facilitate them as much as we can”, he said. The complaint desks for overseas Pakistanis are to become operational by the end of July this year. ***** ?
