Pakistan Post is issuing a Commemorative Postage Stamp of Rs. 8/- demonization on Men of Letters Series Majeed Amjad (1914-1974) on 29th June, 2017.

The Commemorative Postage Stamp will be available for sale from 29th June, 2017 at all the important Post Offices in Pakistan. It should be carefully noted that Commemorative Postage Stamp are not be put on sale before the date of issue under any circumstances.

The first day of issue cover and leaflet priced at Rs. 10/- and Rs. 15/- each respectively, are also brought out. The price of the first day of issue covers and leaflets will be recovered in cash in addition to the value of the stamps required to be affixed on the first day of issue covers (without stamps). The leaflets may be put on sale before the date of actual release of the Commemorative Postage Stamp.

A special postmark will be used to service the first day of issue cover at the Philatelic Bureau, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Khairpur, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Gujranawala, Sialkit, Sargodha, Peshawar, Mardan Sukkur, Murree, Quetta GPO’s , Post Mall Gulbarg Lahore and National Philatelic Bureau, Islamabad.
