In a major breakthrough; as a result of continued efforts of Pakistan Commissioner for Indus Waters; India has finally agreed to our request for inspection of Indian projects in Chenab basin. Our delegation headed by The Pakistan Commissioner on Indus will visit / carry out inspection of projects in Chenab basin from 27th Jan - 1 Feb as proposed by Indian Government, this gesture / cooperation rendered by India for implementation of Indus Treaty and expects the same spirit for resolution of other outstanding issues according to the provisions of the Treaty. Federal minister for water Resources Faisal Vawda said I have directed my team to visit and carry out inspection of projects from 27th Jan to 1 February. It’s indeed a feather in Ministry for water resources’ cap. The delegation will be headed by the Commissioner for Indus Waters and this is the result of his continued efforts. More over Federal minister said Pakistan and India have been into Indus water treaty dispute for ages. Due to our continued efforts there’s a major breakthrough that India has finally agreed to our request for inspection of Indian projects in Chenab basin.
