President Dr. Arif Alvi said that the top qualities required for a leader were recognition of situation, judgement and inspiring the massess. He added "a leader may be an inborn leader but most of the leaders learn from their lives as well as experiences". While inaugurating the Engro Business School in Karachi the President said that such institutions were direly required in Pakistan as they would play a cardinal role in framing NAYA PAKISTAN. The President said that after Industrial and electric revolution the world had witnessed the third revolution in the arena of communication technology but the fourth revolution was challenging one. He called the ability to comprehend big data and doing proper judgement as the fourth revolution which was proceeding at a breakneck speed. "Symbiosis of men and machine will have to play a major role in this fourth revolution" added the President. While explicating the importance of this new revolution he highlighted the burgeoning budget in this sector that had been allocated exponentially i.e. $2 billion for 2018 whereas $100 billion and $3.2 trillion for the years 2020 and 2023 respectively. While acknowledging the importance of knowledge the President added that knowledge was not static rather dynamic and future would belong to those who adjust themselves with that equation. "Wealth-creation is extremely important without that there is no economy, no job and therefore no future" said the President. President Dr. Alvi appreciated the role and contribution of ENGRO in the country's economy and congratulated its management for inauguration of new leadership institute. He stated that the leadership of Holy Prophet (PBUH) was replete with three major principles: vision, honesty and trustworthiness. "No leadership will get success of it deviates from these three major principles of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He called Quaid-i-Azam and Mustafa Kamal the two prime archtypes of leaders.
