President Dr. Arif Alvi has emphasized the need for further strengthening trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Morocco. He added that regular exchange of trade and business delegation was of pivotal importance in this regard. The President was talking to ambassador of Morocco Mohammed Karmoune who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Wednesday. The President said that Pakistan greatly values its relations with Morocco and is desirous of further enhancing these relations in all fields. He underscored that volume of bilateral trade between the both countries is below its true potential which needs to be increased. He underlined that Pakistan can benefit from the experiences of Morocco in the fields of alternate energy and tourism development. The President also extended the invitation to King of Morocco HM Mohammed VI to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenience.
