Pakistan Consulate General Jeddah and Kashmir Committee Jeddah held a reception in honour of Ghulam Mohammad Safi, true representative of the Kashmiri people to mark the Kashmir Black day, says a press release received here today from Jeddah. Addressing the audience, Consular General, Shehryar Akbar Khan described the purpose of holding the Kashmir Black day and said that Kashmiris have been facing worst kind of exploitation by India since October 27, 1947. He said that the OIC Secretary General has himself announced support for the Kashmiris in their ongoing struggle for right of self-determination and added that we are grateful to this invaluable support. Shehryar Akbar said further that the Pakistan will continue to provide political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris to materialize their ultimate objective of self-determination. Pakistanis committed to peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue and will leave no stone unturned in this regard, he added. OIC Secretary General's Special Representative Ambassador Askar Mussinov in represented the OIC Secretary General in the event. In his address, he said that we condemn all the acts of aggression against the innocent Kashmiris and reiterated that the OICs stance of right to self-determination for the Kashmiri people. The true representative of Kashmiris Ghulam Mohammad Safi in his address said that the struggle and protest against Indian aggression has continued for last 7 decades and our determination has not reduced despite Indian government efforts. Despite all the atrocities, the Kashmiris courage has not been reduced but our determination has increased. Kashmiris have decided that their struggle will continue till they get their right of self-determination as promised in UN resolutions. Our struggle will continue as it is a matter of faith and our existence, he added. Kashmir Committee Jeddah Masood Poori thanking the audience, assured that the Kashmir committee Jeddah would raise Kashmir issue on every platform and added that we equally share the sorrows of every Kashmiri.
