Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that they would pull Pakistan Railways out of financial deficit within one year. Talking to media persons at Quetta Airport, he said they would increase profit of Railways to 10 billion rupees. Rasheed added that the Gwadar Deep Sea Port is an unprecedented one all over the world. He further maintained although, it is the time of test for the present government. However, they would try their level best to provide maximum possible facilities to the masses of the country under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Replying to a query, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that the elements involved in money laundering and looting national kitty would never be spared at any cost. Replying to another query, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that the previous governments exploited Pakistan Railways just for the sake of their commission and brought the institution at the verge of collapse. In reply to another question, an 1800 kilometer lengthy special railway track would be constructed under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor project to link Gwadar with rest of the country. The Minister further said that the present government would also try to construct a railway track from Gwadar to Sistan-Balochistan province of Iran. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
