Ambassador European Union to Pakistan H.E Jean Francois Captain called on Advisor to PM on Climate Change, Malik Amin Aslam Khan here at Islamabad today and discussed the areas of mutual cooperation between Pakistan and European Union including Education, Rural Development, Capacity Building, Micro Hydal Power Stations and Climate Change. Federal secretary Climate change Khizar Hayat Khan was also present in the meeting. Advisor to PM on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam Khan has said that Pakistan attaches high value to its exceptional relations with European Union and wishes to further take them to new heights especially in the area of Climate Change and reducing Pollution. Advisor to PM on Climate Change briefed the ambassador in terms of the success story of Billion Tree Tsunami Project in KPK and to initiate the same scale project at National level 10 Billion Tree Tsunami Project. The EU ambassador congratulated the advisor to PM on climate change on assuming the charge of the Ministry. Appreciating the sentiments, the EU envoy said that EU attaches immense importance to its relations with Pakistan and would keep on extending its support in time of need. The EU ambassador assured his commitment towards steps to be taken for reduction in Plastic Pollution in collaboration with Ministry of Climate Change. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* ?
