PR No. 15 Improving The Nutritional Status Top Priority - Health Minister Islamabad: September 3, 2018

Country Director World Bank, led by Mr.Patchamuthu Illangovan, called on Federal Minister for National Health Services Aamer Mehmood Kiani today in his office. Talking to delegation Federal Health Minister Aamer Mehmood Kiani said improving the nutritional status of children and mothers was the top priority of the government in accordance with vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said enhancing the coverage EPI to protect children and their mothers from deadly diseases was also high on the agenda. The Minister asked the World Bank delegation to work closely with Ministry in strengthening initiative to improve the nutritional status of mother and children. World Bank delegation shared with the Minister details of World Bank assisted programs in the Health Sector. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
