Federal Minister for Climate Change chaired a condolence reference on sad demise of his PS Shahid Mehmood. He expressed his great sorrow and said Mr. Shaihid was a very hardworking and dedicated person. He served in Ministry of Climate Change previously known as Ministry of Environment more than 38 years. During his service, he performed his duties honestly and with great responsibility. He served with every Federal Minister of Climate Change and Environment with devotion. He also said this is a great loss for this ministry which cannot be compensated. He also instructed to provide support to his family Inspector General Forests Syed Mehmood Nasir said that Mr. Shahid is one of the pioneer employees of this ministry. He has seen all the growing years of this ministry. His services for this ministry will always be remembered. The condolence reference was also attended by Secretary Ministry of Cliamte Change Khizer Hayat, Additional Secretary, Director General Environment, Inspector general Forest and other officers. They recited Surat Fatiha and prayed for departed soul. Mr. Shahid Mehmood passed away on 27th of July due to heart attack at his home. *-*-*-*
