PR No.134 HCJP TAKES NOTICE OF ALLOTMENT OF LDA LAND TO OIL COMPANIES ON LOW PRICES AND FIXES IT ON 26.7.2018 WITH NOTICE TO ALL STAKEHOLDERS TO BE PRESENT ON NEXT DATE THROUGH PUBLICATION OF THIS PRESS RELEASE IN MEDIA. Islamabad: 24th July 2018

Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Mian Saqib Nisar took notice of lease of LDA land to Oil Companies at Lahore on low prices. The notice was taken on application of Mr Abdullah Malik stating the land was allotted on thrown away prices illegally that needs proper investigation, says a press release received here today from Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad. Taking notice of the issue, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan has directed Director General Lahore Development Authority to submit comments before next date of hearing i,e 26.7.2018. Further his lordship has directed that the entire record of writ petitions pertaining to disputed petrol pumps pending before the Lahore High Court be requisitioned. The Committee constituted to resolve the issue have also been directed to be present in Court on next date of hearing. Owners/ proprietors or the management of the disputed petrol pumps who have stakes, have been directed to appear in Court on next date of hearing. i,e. 26.7.2018 through publication of this Press Release in media.
