Spokesman of the Aviation Division while clarifying the news published and broadcasted in the segment of the media regarding the delay in the operationalization of the New Islamabad International Airport, has said that preparations for the operationalization of the airport have been completed and it would be functional on April 20, 2018. He said that no such instructions were passed regarding the delay in the operationalization of the airport. He has also said that NIIAP was the first largest Green Field airport of the country and it will be fully functional in the month of April adding that it will provide the best facilities of international standards to the valued passengers. ***
